Laura Lynch, an establishing individual from the U.S. country band The Chicks, kicked the bucket in a head-on fender bender on a Texas parkway, policing said on Saturday.

"We are stunned and disheartened to learn of the death of Laura Lynch," the band, known as the Dixie Chicks until 2020, wrote in an explanation via online entertainment.

 "Laura was a splendid light — her irresistible enthusiasm and humor gave a flash to the beginning of our band," the band said in the explanation.

Lynch, who helped to establish the famous gathering in 1989 in Dallas alongside performers Robin Lynn Macy and sisters Martie and Emily Erwin, kicked the bucket in the head-on crash on a thruway beyond El Paso on Friday, the Texas Division of Public Security said in an explanation.

Lynch, 65, was in the driver's seat of her vehicle driving eastward on US 62 beyond the city of El Paso when another vehicle going the other way endeavored to pass a vehIt collided with Lynch's Portage truck, and she was articulated dead at the scene. The driver of the other vehicle was shipped to a neighborhood emergency clinic with non-perilous wounds, authorities said.

The Chicks said in explanation Lynch was "instrumental" to the band's initial achievement.

Lynch was the band's bassist and at one point the primary singer. She left the gathering in 1995.

Initially established as a twang band, the Dixie Chicks delivered their significant mark debut Boundless expanses in 1998, selling "a bigger number of Cds than any remaining down home music bunches joined," and procuring their most memorable Grammy Grant, as per the honors' site.
